About Me (and Traffic Legacy)

After getting over 1,000 visitors a day to that site, I determined that I could have reached that point much faster, if I had just taken certain steps in a certain way. I'll share some of those strategies here.

In addition to being a website publisher and owning several websites, my articles on self-improvement and motivation, cat care, and online success strategies have been published on a variety of websites.

I started Traffic Legacy because I saw a huge information gap on the Web. Despite thousands of sites that deal with website traffic strategies, website promotion, and home based business, new webmasters are still struggling to get traffic to their sites.

I actually thought long and hard, though, about creating yet another site around website traffic and "Internet Marketing" strategies. In fact, it took me a full year of research (I kid you not!) before I decided to do it.

My main concern was that many of the Net marketing stuff out there is either done by the "guru" trying to sell you something, or people who really have no clue what they're talking about. I didn't fall into either category. I decided that's exactly why I should do this site.

Just a thought: Did you ever wonder why the Internet Marketing gurus need a product launch?

Think about it. If they're really that good at generating susatainable, quality, website traffic, then why do they need all the hype? Why do they need tons of "affiliates" (who are really just other Net Marketing people in their "inner circle") promoting their stuff?

Puzzling, no? Well, what you and I need are not hyped up promotions, but real, sustainable, long term traffic that we can convert into money. Agreed? OK, let's get some. It's not that hard, but it does take effort.

On this site I discuss a number of strategies I've used to increase website traffic (into the 1,000's per day), as well as some of the testing that I'm currently doing. I have tons of information to share with you, all the way from the fundamentals on up to advanced techniques that I'll be adding to the site, so come back often. I'll also post progress reports related to the traffic tests so that you can see what works, and what doesn't as well.
